Amanda and Cameron are Bumble sweethearts that both swiped right. They would describe themselves as laid back and all about the fun things in life! When I asked what scenery they envisioned for their session they said they wanted something beachy but also LOVED the modern look. Ultimately we decided on 2 amazing locations. For the first location we decided to head under the Scripps Pier in La Jolla, CA. I have to say these pier engagement photos deliver.
The under the pier shots were so beautiful to shoot and gave that modern architecture look this couple was after. We then headed further down the beach to find some really pretty rocky cliffs. I love the texture of the rocks and the cliff face in comparison to the clean lines of the pier. I found this location to be very diverse and of course gorgeous so we were able to capture a wide range of images.
We finished up this shoot as the sun was starting to set at Windansea. This stretch of coastline is scattered with giant rock formations that have been smoothed and decorated by the sea. Amanda and Cameron were so sweet together. It was so amazing capturing these intimate moments between them. I have to give points to Cameron. He didn't know we had planned to do the last shot sitting in the ocean. But he got in even with his new fancy pants. We all agreed it was totally worth it!
