A Sentimental Downtown Session at Wren & Wolf
There’s something truly special about photographing couples in places that hold meaning to their story. For Veronica and Glenn, that place is Wren & Wolf—a stylish restaurant and bar tucked into the heart of downtown Phoenix. It’s not just a favorite lunch spot for them; it’s where they went right before they got engaged, making it the perfect location for their engagement session.
Stepping inside Wren & Wolf is like walking into a dreamscape—a blend of eclectic elegance and modern mood. The space is full of character, with oversized paintings of animals and lush fauna, vintage-inspired lighting, and even a few taxidermy creatures (yes, that curious fox and those perched birds!) adding to its wild, whimsical charm.
The Look
Veronica wore a breezy midi dress patterned with delicate blue flowers, effortlessly romantic and totally in sync with the tone of the session. Glenn coordinated perfectly in a light blue button-up—simple, clean, and a sweet complement to Veronica’s look. Their style was casual but polished, letting their love and comfort with each other shine through.
The Vibe
These two were completely in their element, sharing quiet laughs and sipping their favorite drinks—a classic dirty martini for Veronica and a whiskey on the rocks for Glenn. We wandered through cozy corners, captured candid moments across leather booths, and soaked in the moody light filtering through the space.
