A Dreamy Desert Elopement at Scorpion Gulch | Alison & Ben

Nestled among the rugged charm of the Arizona desert, Scorpion Gulch set the scene for one of the most enchanting elopements we’ve seen—a day that perfectly balanced romance, whimsy, and a touch of vintage magic.

Alison and Ben, a real-life couple whose connection radiated through every frame, chose this historic, sun-soaked ghost town as the backdrop for their styled elopement. With its crumbling stone walls, open skies, and desert blooms, Scorpion Gulch offered a unique and organic canvas for this intimate celebration.

The Look

Alison was a vision in her lace strapless mermaid gown—elegant and timeless, hugging her silhouette in all the right ways. Her cathedral-length veil caught the wind beautifully, creating soft, cinematic movement with every step. Paired with glowing skin and effortless waves, her bridal look was both modern and romantic.

Ben stood tall and dapper in a classic black suit. Simple, sleek, and sharp—it was the perfect complement to Alison’s soft, detailed gown. Together, they embodied elegance without stealing the spotlight from the raw beauty of their surroundings.

The Florals

Color played a major role in bringing this styled elopement to life. The florals were a joyful burst of pinks, purples, and corals—a vivid contrast to the neutral desert tones. From the bouquet to the car arrangement, every bloom added a splash of celebration to the day. It was the kind of floral design that makes your heart skip a beat: lush, playful, and just a little wild.

The Getaway Car: Matcha

And then there was Matcha—the most charming little detail of them all. We rented a vintage Japanese Figaro convertible in the dreamiest shade of pale green. Affectionately named Matcha, this car quickly stole the show. With its retro curves and pastel paint, it added a sense of fun and nostalgia to the shoot. Whether parked in front of the ruins or cruising down a desert road, Matcha was the cherry on top of an already picture-perfect day.

The Vibe

Every element—from the fashion to the florals to the vintage wheels—worked in harmony to tell Alison and Ben’s story. It was about love, adventure, and creating beauty in unexpected places. Scorpion Gulch offered more than just a backdrop; it brought a sense of grounding and timelessness to the shoot.

This styled elopement wasn’t just about the aesthetic—it was a celebration of a real couple, real connection, and the kind of love that makes you believe in magic.
