There’s something so special about engagement sessions that feel both effortless and deeply intentional and Alec and Stacie’s shoot at Jewel of the Creek was exactly that.

Nestled in the lush desert just north of Phoenix, Jewel of the Creek gave us the perfect backdrop: winding trails, golden light filtering through the mesquite trees, and just the right amount of summer breeze to bring a little movement and magic into their photos.

Stacie showed up looking absolutely stunning in a strapless white mini dress paired with chic white rhinestone heels. Her look was bridal, fresh, and modern—all the more meaningful because she had scheduled her engagement session the same day as her hair and makeup trial. It was such a smart move to see how her full look would photograph ahead of the wedding day, and spoiler: it photographed beautifully.



Alec kept it classic and cool in a light blue polo and grey slacks, a perfect complement to the natural surroundings and Stacie’s crisp white look. Together, they brought such a calm, joyful energy that made the whole evening feel easy.

We explored the trails, paused in the quiet moments, and embraced the golden hour light as it danced through the desert brush. Their connection is effortless—the kind where a quick glance or quiet laugh tells a whole story.
